MANUFACTURING FACILITIES |

manufacturing facilities are located strategically throughout
the United States. Facilities have been developed to provide
customer and market focus as well as material specialization.
ISC-Santa Ana is an ISO 9002/QS 9000 certified 40,000- square-foot facility dedicated to high-performance fluoro- and perfluoroelastomers, silicone and fluorosilicone materials. Market segments serviced by Santa Ana include the aerospace, semiconductor, chemical processing and industrial markets. ISC-LaGrange is an ISO 9001/QS 9000 certified 100,000-square-foot facility heavily focused on lean manufacturing techniques. Seal rings for the automotive industry produced in LaGrange are among the highest quality in the world. A Class 100 clean room is dedicated to the production of SIMRIZ® perfluoroelastomer parts for the semiconductor industry. All ISC facilities employ cell manufacturing to ensure quality production with maximum flexibility. By aligning production equipment in focused “cells,” we can ensure product quality for many products and applications within the same production center. ISC has clean cell capabilities to meet the contamination demands at two facilities (ISC-Santa Ana and ISC-LaGrange). The attention to eliminating contamination starts even before raw material is received by ISC facilities. Specifications are employed to target and eliminate known contamination sources in the polymer-ization or transportation processes. Environmentally controlled storage facilities and incoming material audits ensure the material is ready and within specification when production demands. The mixing, preforming and molding of material is conducted in a Class 1000 clean cell. After deflashing, post-curing and inspection, the parts are again washed and rinsed in UPDI in a Class 100 clean room and packaged for inventory or shipment to our customers.
